Due to the uncertainty of Covid-19 pande- mic disease, the Prague InterCup 2020 was put off to a later date just as many other In- ternational Arabian horse shows of this season. Although there were no specific restrictions for travelling to the region of Prague, the Cze- ch Association of the Purebred Arabian Hor- se (ACPAK) led by Mr. Jaroslav La- cina, deci- ded to hold the compe- tition outdo- ors at Velkà Chouchle Ra- cecourse, on the southern outskir- sts of Prague, taking very seriously all safety requirements at the show ground, all show areas and con- nected events to ensure guests’ safety. A beautiful lot of horses from Europe, with a good group of Polish Arabians, and from Saudi Arabia, entered the show, being judges by four international judges: Mrs. Ten- gstedt Marianne (Denmark); Mrs. Fayt Bérengére (Bel- gium); Dr. Aragno Gianmarco (Italy) and Mr. Bialobok Jerzy (Poland). Disciplinary Commissio- ners: Mr. Ismer Nills (Germany); Ms. Brun- sgaard Line (Denmark) and Mrs. Cie- slak Irena (Po- land). Ringmaster: Mr. Oben Gerard (Bel- gium). Results by: Ara- bian Essence. The competition started on Satur- day, 18th September at 10:00 and ended on the same day at 20:00 with the following re- sults. In the YEARLING FILLIES CHAMPION- SHIP, Gold medal winner the bay AJ Masora (AJ Mardan x HDM Maria Apal) bred and owned by Ajman Stud – HH Sheikh Ammar Bin Humad al Nuaimi. Silver medal winner the bay Yaldez Al Aziza (Jyar Meia Lua x Iris By Ajsha PM) bred by Azez Arabians and owned by Kilani Naji. Bronze medal winner the bay Almarie EA (Emerald J x Bts Lily May) bred by Esperanza Arabians LLC and owned by Nesma Stud. In the JUNIOR FILLIES CHAMPION- SHIP, Gold medal winner the grey Pawita (WH Justice x Paema) bred and owned by Lech Blaszczyk. Silver medal winner the grey AJ Tiran (AJ Mardan x Amyra Bint Khidar) bred by Aj- man Stud - HH Sheikh Ammar Bin Humad al Nuaimi and owned by Arabian Stud – Nayla Hayek. Bronze medal winner the bay Royal Asselah (Royal Asad x R Arabella) bred by Eric & Ka ren England and owned by Nesma Stud. In the SENIOR MARES CHAMPION- SHIP, Gold medal winner the grey Bianca AL (Halyr Meia Luna x Giuliana El Shawan) bred by Agropec Leopoldino Ltd and owned by Hanaya Arabian Stud- Nayla Hayek. Silver medal winner the bay Ever Essen- ce Wha (Ever After Na x Essence of Fame) bred by Michael E Millard & Andreen E Millard and owned by Hanaya Arabians – Nayla Hayek. Bronze medal winner the grey Anawora (Piaff x Altamira) bred by Stadnina Koni Janow Podlaski and owned by Suweco Stud, Mina Suskievicova. There was no Yearling Colts Championship this year. In the JUNIOR COLTS CHAMPIONSHIP, Gold medal winner the chestnut Berwaz Al Bustan (Fa El Rasheem x BS Noor) bred by Albustan Stables and owned by Zeller Noe- mie Philomena. Silver medal winner EKS Sirajj (Ibn Farid x EKS Bint Helwah) bred by Elkasun Arabians and owned by Hanaya Arabian Stud – Nayla Hayek. Bronze medal winner, the bay Haash Osb (Dominic M x Partyssima OSB) bred by Ms. Olivia Strauch and owned by Christine Jamar Deemeersseman – Oliva Strauch. In the SENIOR STALLIONS CHAMPION- SHIP, Gold medal winner the grey Woj (Empire x Waranga) bred by SK Michalov and owned by Flaxmans Arabians. Silver medal winner, the grey Safeer By Si- billa (MG Magic Ghassan x Magic Sibilla) bred by Abagnale Marinella and owned by Hanaya Arabian Stud. Bronze medal winner the grey Hanine Al Shanania (Al Adeed Al Shaqab x Shomos Al Nasser) bred by Al Shanania Stud and owned by Marina Novotna. CONCLUSION: After a beautiful stay in the gold city of Pra- gue and an intense day spent with beautiful Arabian horses at Velkà Chouchle Racecour- se, the Prague Inter Cup came smoothly to an end. The participants and spectators of the show, who were required by their na- tional governments to return home with a Covid-19 coronavirus test, were able to take it before their departure. From its part, Ara- bian Horse Magazine would like to speak on behalf of all the breeders, owners, jud- ges, disciplinary commissioners, handlers, photographers, and, everyone else who flew out there, and say: “Thank you Mr. Jaroslav Lacina and Prague Intercup team. You did the best you could do to make everyone feel comfortable, to enjoy the show and to depart safely back home. We hope to see you all next year again for the 2021 edition”.
