From 21st to 23rdAugust 2020, the town gates of Montefalco re-opened to wonder- ful Arabian specimen which arrived in the beautiful ancient borough to participate in the competition organized by A.S.D. Arabian Horse Event led by Mr. Roberto Ceccaroni in collabo- ration with the Municipality of Montefalco. The International C-Show affiliated with E.C.H.A.O. took place in the well-known ‘Le Lame Horses Sporting Club’, which also hosted the Straight Egyptians Event, the Italian Breeder Champion- ship, the All Around Classes and the Aljassimya Amateur Challenge. Strictly with reference to the International C-Show, seven judges – national and internatio- nal – were invited to score our purebred Ara- bians: HH Sheikha Al Nayan Fatima (UAE); Mr. Beste Klaus G. (Kuwait); Mr. Abbas Abdel Raouf (Egypt; Mr. Santoro Francesco (Italy); Mr. San- chi Francesco (Italy); Mr. Moschini Cristian and Mrs. Bautista Antonia (Spain). In her quality of Ring master: Mrs. Raso Barbara. Disciplinary Commissioners: Mrs. Mascagna Laura, Mr. Ma- nerba Alberto and Mr. Di Salvo Andrea. General Secretariat: Arabian Essence. The show kicked off on Saturday afternoon 22nd August at 5pm am and ended on Sun- day 23rd at about 8:00 pm with the following results: In the YEARLING FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP, Gold medal winner the bay CS Hiroshima (Fa El Ra- sheem x CS Opportunity) bred and owned by Ciacci Enzo and presented by handler Capecci Paolo. Silver medal winner the bay AB Jana (Invictus x VA Janette) bred by Benedetti Mauro, owned by Abhaa Arabians – Albabtain A S A Ahmad and presented by handler Capecci Paolo. Bronze medal winner the grey Jakarta Scah (S.M.A. Magic One x Jaliila Scah) bred and ow- ned by Arabians SRL Società Agricola and presented by handler Capacci Giacomo. In the JUNIOR FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP, Gold medal winner the bay Norma Al Muawd (RFI Farid x AV Dalia) bred by Mohammed Abdullah Al Sobaie, owned by Abhaa Arabians and presented by hand- ler Capecci Paolo. Silver medal winner, the chestnut Amani Moniscione (Aj Mardan x Alma Al Tiglio) bred by Buzzi Giancarlo, owned by Picciola Valentina and presented by handler Ciriegia Roberto. Bronze medal winner the grey Arhes (Juss Angelo x Aisha by Safira) bred and owned by Mattiello Mirco and pre- sented by handler Zaniboni Roberto. In the SENIOR STALLIONS CHAMPIONSHIP, Gold medal winner the grey Enotri EEA (Shanghai EA x Enjoi E) bred by Enzo Ltd- Equus Arabians, owned by Enotri EEA Partners and presented by Elegantica Training Center. Silver medal winner, the grey Piccadilly (Ajman Moniscione x Shakira By Kir) bred by Sparapan Amadio, owned by Scalvini Maria Angiola and presented by handler Zaniboni Roberto. Bronze medal winner, the chestnut STY Esstimate (Don Giovanni J x Evita El Javier) bred by Steylaers Giovanna, owned by Zaniboni Roberto and presen- ted by him. CONCLUSION: This year too, despite the health crisis engendered by Covid-19 coronavirus, the town of Montefalco managed to celebrate the beauty and elegance of the Arabian horse in the picturesque sur- roundings of the Umbrian countryside, encircled by the green hills and lush colors of the finest vineyards of Sagrantino. We on the AHM team spent two mar- velous days full of grace and sport, gorgeous food and wine and a strictly local hospitality. Therefore, con- gratulations to the winners and the organizers, to the judges, to the disciplinary commissioners and to the handlers who intervened but, first and foremost, con- gratulations to Mr. Roberto Ceccaroni and A.S.D.k Arabian Horse Events, in collaboration with the Mu- nicipality of Montefalco, which made considerable efforts for the preparation of this important morpho- logy event in Umbria, despite the unique circumstan- ces we are still experiencing due to the spread of the pandemic disease.
