1.Who is Krystal Dawson?
Please tell us about yourself, where you are from and about your family.
1.G'Day Guys and Gals,
I was born in Australia NSW Hunter Valley area called Maitland, filled with lots of farm land, wineries you name it!
When I turned 19, I moved on my own to Sydney to pursue more modelling and I still have the pleasure of going back to see all my family three hours away at any chance I can.
2. How and when were you discovered as a model? Did you always want to pursue modelling?
2. When I was 8 years old, I did a fashion show and realized I love the stage. At age 17 I did a modelling and gait course, at age 18 I started competing in modelling competitions made some contacts in Sydney and I was on my way competing and working as a promotional model.
3. If you had to say - what three things make a great model?
3. Professionalism
Patience
Personality
4. What have been your favourite experiences modelling so far?
4. I love being able to travel overseas so when I got the chance to compete and shoot in Egypt, Mexico and, as soon as we are allowed with Covid-19, Las Vegas is next!
But, such simple things like shooting wearing roller-skates and milkshakes was extra fun!
But nothing compares to shooting on exquisite Arabian Horses in sand dunes that go for miles.
5. Are there any fashion designers that you really like to wear? How would you describe your style?
5. My forever favourite designer/style is Wheels and Dollbaby which is a 1950s pin up style of clothing. The designer lives in Perth Western Australia and celebrities such as Kate Moss, Katy Perry, Scarlett Johansson wear the designs and they have even collaborated with burlesque icon Dita von Tesse.
I don't hold myself to just one style, I just dress the way I feel that day, whether it be sporty, girlie little skirts and small tops or Bohemian beach goddess, I love it and wear it all!
6. What else do you do when you're not modelling?
6. When not modelling I have always loved singing!
Currently creating demos and collaborations with fellow music lovers to go further into my hidden talent.
7. Between modelling and Arabian horses…Tell us when you have first met an Arabian horse and how you felt about it.
7. This shoot was actually my first time meeting Arabian horses, and it is a magical experience I will never forget, they are so beautiful and majestic in their own right, I could honestly die happy having had the pleasure of being in their presence.
8. Do you own Arabian horses yourself? What kind of relationship do you have with horses in general?
8. I don't own horses personally, when growing up one of my best friends was a horse trainer so, I was extremely blessed to be able to rock up at her place/farm where she worked and go horse riding with her, then I grew up and moved to the big city and my special moments with them are now through the lovely photographer Dana Russo.
9. Have you ever been to Arabian horse's beauty competitions? If so, tell us which International Arabian Horses Show was/is your favourite one.
9. No, I haven't had the pleasure just yet! But, I would absolutely love to!
10. Lastly, what's something you want less of in your life? What about more of…?
10. I want less coronavirus cases and restrictions and more of pursuing my dreams which consists of modelling overseas travelling to such beautiful places, sing to my heart's content and meeting more breath-taking Arabian horses!
Thank you so much Krystal. May all your dreams come true!
