This year, the European Champion- ship –B International show was held outdoors from 19th to 20th September at a different venue, the Velka Chuchle Racecourse, on the outskirts of Prague. After careful evaluation of the current COVID-19 coronavirus circum- stances, the Czech Association of the Pu- rebred Arabian Horse, (ACPKA) led by Mr. Jaroslav Lacina, following to the let- ter all precautionary and safety measures making a perfect job of it, although there were no specific restraints on travelling to the region of Prague nor Czech Republic. A judge panel composed by six internatio- nal judges flew out there to score a line-up of purebred Arabian horses of exquisite quality; they were: Mr. Aeschbacher Urs (Switzerland); Mr. Beste Klaus (Kuwait); Mr. Birch Peter (Denmark); Mrs. Da- rius Claudia (Germany); Mr. Den Har- tog Robbie (Netherlands) and Mr. Ismer Mark (Germany). With the rank of Disci- plinary Commissioners: Hegemann Peter (Germany); Dr. Ismer Nils (Germany); Mr. Chat Elisabeth (Au stria) and Mrs. Cieslak Irena (Poland). Ringmaster: Oben Gerard (Belgium). Show office: Mrs. Slavìkovà Zuzana (Cze- ch Republic). Speakers: Blaak Eric (Bel- gium) and Berkovà Veronika (Czech Republic). Results by: Arabian Essence (Italy). In the SENIOR STALLIONS CHAM- PIONSHIP, Gold medal winner the grey Barok (OM El Bellissimo x Bajda) bred and owned by SK Janow Podlaski Sp. Zo.o and presented by handler Mateusz Tokarski. Silver medal winner the grey Kabsztad (Poganin x Kwestura) bred by Stadnina Koni Michalow, owned by K. and H. Hennekens van Nes and Flaxman Arabians, and presented by handler Koen Hennekens. Kabstad won by class score. Bronze medal winner the chestnut Ali Khan (Cavalli x Althea) bred by Claudia Brugman, owned by Paula Bohmer and presented by handler Frederik Van Sas. The European Championship 2020 came to an end with a thrilling and solemn SPECIAL AWARDS CEREMONY: The Best European Breeder trophy was assigned to SK Michalow. The Best Mover Female trophy was awar- ded to Etira. The Best Mover Male trophy was earned by LME Raphael. Highest Scoring Female was the mare Alsa. Highest Scoring Male was the stallion Ba- rok.
