Arabian Horse Show

The 4th Barcelona C-International Arabian Horse took place from 29th to 30th August 2020 at Lasal Arabians, nearby Barcelona,
Catalonia, northeastern Spain. This was an ECHAO affiliated show which has been proudly organized by Mr. Víctor Jaramino Lozano since its very inception. Held on the picturesque Costa Brava, this exclusive event for all Arabian horse lovers welcomed an ama- zing line-up of Arabians coming from Europe and Arabian countries.
One restriction was that the number of the horses enrolled in the show by each of the farms could not exceed the 30% of the overall number of participa- ting horses.
An international jury was composed by: Mrs. He- len Henneckens-van Nes (Belgium); Mr. Eric Gear (France) and Mrs. Ramon Sala (Spain).
The Disciplinary Committee was duly represented by: Lieutenant Santiago Fernandez Bermejo (Spain). In the beautiful arena, there was famous Ringmaster Mr. Bertrand Valette (France).
The show started on Saturday29th August and ended on Sunday 30th August with the following results:
In the YEARLING FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP, Gold medal winner Esma Rose Domitia (AJ Porto- fino x Zahila Domitia by Marajj) bred and owned by Domitia Farms
Silver medal winner Ghawiat Al Shiraa (D Seraj x PF Panama by WH Justice) bred and owned by Al Shi- raa Stables.
Bronze medal winner Hauriya Al Shiraa (SMA Ma- gic One x EKS Mademoiselle by Abha Quebec) bred and owned by Al Shiraa Stables.
In the JUNIOR FILLIES CHAMPIONSHIP, Gold medal winner, Faaizat Al Shiraa (Fadi Al Shaqab x Nesj el Daikhima by Ajman Moniscione) bred and owned by Al Shiraa Stables.
Silver medal winner OKS Emo- rina (Morion x OKS Emporia by Girlan-Bey) bred and owned by Farm Kristoffersen.
Bronze medal winner Elstrella Meia Lua (HP Ali x Ellara el Lu- djin by Ludjin el Jamaal) bred by Haras Meia Lua and owned by Al Jood Stud.
In the SENIOR MARES CHAMPIONSHIP, Gold me- dal winner Asia de Luc (Shanghai EA x Garnata de Luc by Alfabia Damascus) bred by Yeguada Garcia Ferrero and owned by Bernat Tol- rà. Silver medal winner Weddad Al Shahania (SMA Magic One x RHR Cashmere by OFW Magic One) bred by Al Shahania Stud and owned by Fabien Julé. Bronze medal winner Cheronea (Qr Marc x Chimera by Emigrant) bred by Michalow Stud and owned by Equus Arabians.
In the YEARLING COLTS CHAM- PIONSHIP, Gold medal winner, Hani Al Shiraa (FA El Rasheem x AJA Arabella by EKS Alihandro) bred and owned by Al Shiraa Stables.
Silver medal winner, Herodotus Al Shiraa (FA El Rasheem x Eralda by Emerald J) bred and owned by Al Shiraa Stables.
Bronze medal winner NM Anakin (RFI Farid x Annalisa Alih by EKS Alihandro) bred and owned by Nicolas Meyer.
In the JUNIOR COLTS CHAM- PIONSHIp, Gold medal winner AJ Sanad (AJ Mardan x AJ Sultana by Marwan Al Shaqab) bred by Aj- man Stud and owned by Al Shiraa Stables.
Silver medal winner Cyrano LA (Izan Al Cape x Kali Cathare by Fanatico)
bred by Leila Arabians and owned by Robert Guirao.
Bronze medal winner Rahim Al Cape (Izan Al Cape x Cyr Gracio- sa de la Rua by Shanghai EA) bred and owned by Al Cape Arabians.
In the SENIOR STALLIONS CHAMPIONSHIP, Gold medal winner Om el Bellagio (WH Justi- ce x OM el Belinda Estopa by Om el Shahmaan) bred by Om el Arab and owned by Verena Egli.
Silver medal winner DAA Nairobi (Hariry Al Shaqab x Aj Narida by Muranas Jassehr) bred and owned by Dalia Arabians.
Bronze medal winner Shaheen Lembarak (Farhoud Al Shaqab x Aj Bayan by Marwan al Shaqab) bred and owned by Lembarak Arabians.
CONCLUSION:
We on the Arabian Horse Magazine team feel de- lighted to have been invited to this beautiful eque- strian event for the very first time. And we can now say that it is indeed an experience worth living. Mr.
Victor is a perfect host, helpful, warm but first and foremost, a meticulous organizer. Spectators could enjoy a very well-managed show that took place in a quiet but joyful atmosphere. Compulsory, the use of mask and compliance with the security and safety standards due to Covid-19 circumstances.
But, as we know, beautiful things happen to beauti- ful people, and this amazing show of true passionate offered the best it could for sharing with us all their love for the Arabian Horse! One place to go with all your family and fellow friends for great moments all together. We hope to see you all next year!
