Prince Sultan Arabian Horse Festival is a celebration of the Arabian Horse and it has been put into operation to uphold and develop the equestrian disciplines in which this extraordinary animal competes. This quality and horse lover ‘paradise’ is held under the patronage of His Royal Highness, Prince Khaled Bin Sultan Bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud. His stud farm is one of the best equipped in the whole of the Gulf area. Stretching over more than 400 hectares, Al Khalediah Stables (AKS), have a fully equipped internal equine clinic in which the experienced and well trained staff has obtained a considerable number of medical successes, ranging from reproduction to embryo management methods. This state-of-the-art hospital with highly specialized staff is also available to breeders. Prince Khaled’s contagious passion for the Arabian horse has led to the organization of PSAIAHF also this year, it opened its doors from 23rd to 25th January 2020 in the headquarters of His Highness's farms in Tebrak city, west of Riyadh. Organized by Makshaff Services Ltd, the Festival managed to capture the interest of all the experts and specialists of the breeding industry who all gathered to witness a very well-organized show with a significant attendance of spectators. The Board of Directors consisted of: HRH Prince Khaled bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Chairman; HRH Prince Faisal bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz; HH Prince Turki bin Khaled Bin Faisal; HH Prince Mohammed bin Faisal Bin Abdallah; HRH Prince Faisal bin Khaled bin Sultan; HRH Prince Khaled bin Bandar bin Sultan; HRH Prince Naif bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz; HRH Prince Ahmad bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz; HRH Prince Mansour bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz and HRH Prince Fahad bin Khaled bin Sultan-General Supervisor. There were eight international judges: Mrs. Marianne Tengstedt (Denmark); Dr. Nikolaus Jung (Germany); Mrs. Anna Stojanowska (Poland); Mrs. Ann Norden (Sweden); Mrs. Maria Ferraroni (Italy); Mrs. Christina Valdes Mrs. Christina Valdes (Spain); Mr. Mohamed Oussidhoum (Morocco); Mr. Urs Aeschbacher (Switzerland); Mr. Eric Gear (France) and Mr. Gianmarco Aragno (Italy). The Disciplinary Committee was composed by: Dr. Malak Benamar (Morocco) Dr. Niels Ismer (Germany); Dr. Gianpaolo Teobaldelli (Italy); Mr. Turki Mohammed AlMuqbel (Saudi Arabia); Dr. Bassem Badr (Saudi Arabia) and Mr. Saad Abdullah AlQassim (Saudi Arabia). The role of Ring-master was given to the entertaining: Mr. Gerard Oben (Belgium) and to his assistant Mr. Walid Al Haddadi (Saudi Arabia). General Director: Mr. Dr. Abdul Ganiy Y.M Al Fadhl (Saudi Arabia); Show Manager: Mr. Salah Al Ali (Saudi Arabia); Festival Operations Manager: Mr. Hakim Abdul Subhan (Saudi Arabia); Technical Manager: Mr. Mamdouh Sami (Saudi Arabia); Announcers: Ms. Nabilah A Al Ali (Saudi Arabia) and Mr. Mohammed Al Dossary (Saudi Arabia). Official Scorer: Arabian Essence (Italy); Official Photographer: Mr. Mohammed Abou Haimed (Saudi Arabia); Website Photographer: Mr. Jan Kan (Holland). Veterinary Doping Test: Dr. Anas Salah Al-Hassan (Saudi Arabia); Show Farrier: provided by Al Khalediah Equine Hospital. The three-day Arabian Horse Festival ended with the following results: In the Yearling Fillies category, the victory and the title of Gold Champion medal was awarded to the grey D Farehan (D Seraj x Elle Flamenca) bred and owned by Dubai Arabian Horse Stud. Silver medal for the grey Aj Al Brraqah (Fa El Rasheem x Felicia Rlc) bred and owned by Ajman Stud - HH Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. Bronze medal for the grey Danah Alsayed (Alexxanderr x Delight`S Divah Rb) bred by Khalid Saeed Abdullah AlSayed - AlSayed Arabian Horse Stud and owned by Abdulwahab Saeed Abdullah Alsayed In the Yearling Colts category, the victory and the title of Gold champion was assigned to the grey Aj Sabran (Aj Kafu x Aja Caprice) bred and owned by Ajman Stud - HH Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. Silver medal for the black Haleem Al Enaya (Nayroz Alenaya x Samar Elenaya) bred and owned by Tarig Bin Mohammed E Enaya - Enaya Stud. Haleem Al Enaya was also higher score in his class. Bronze medal for the grey Qaiser Al Tinhat (Excalibur Ea x Stephana W) bred and owned by Abdullah Fahad Dakhel Alhaqbani Aldosari - Al Tinhat Stud. The title of Gold Champion Junior Filly was awarded to the grey D Judi (Aj Azzam x Elle Flamenca) bred and owned by Dubai Arabian Horse Stud. Silver medal for the bay Adwaa Al Arab (Emerald J x Hk Jojo Rlc) bred and owned by Ali Bin Mohammed Ali Al Ali - Al Arab Stud. Bronze medal for the grey D Shihanah (Fa El Rasheem x D Shahla) bred and owned by Dubai Arabian Horse Stud. The Gold Champion Junior Colt title went to the grey D Nayel (Fa El Rasheem x D Nawal) bred by Dubai Arabian Horse Stud and owned by Shaikh Saeed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al-Maktoum. Silver medal winner the bay Admiraal (Emerald J x Haniyyah) bred by Mohammed Abdullah Al Sobaie - Al Muawd Stud and owned by Ajman Stud - HH Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. Bronze medal winner the bay Dosar Alsayed (Validoro x Delight`S Divah Rb) bred by Khalid Saeed Abdullah Alsayed - AlSayed Arabian Horse Stud and owned by Abdulwahab Saeed Abdullah AlSayed. SK Janow Podlaski’s cover-girl Pepita (Ekstern x Pepesza) won the title of Champion Senior Mare. Pepita is now owned by HRHP - Abdal Majeed Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud - Akmal Stud. Silver medal winner the chestnut Malikat Al Moluk (Mameluk x Asalat Al Hala) bred by Halawa Khader and owned by Mubarak Hamdan Rashed Alkhashab - Alkhashab Stud. Bronze medal winner the grey Anoud Al Jalawiyah (Shael Dream Desert x Day Drean J) bred by H.P. Turkai Bin Fahed Bin Mashari Al Saud Al Jalawiyah Stud and owned by Meshal Abdullah Ali Alduhaym - Al Rmha Stud. Gold Champion Senior Stallion was the stunning grey E.S. Harir (Aj Dinar x Tf Magnums Magic) bred by Sheikh Abdulla Bin Majid Alqassemi and owned by Alsaqran Arabian Horse Stud. Silver medal winner the bay Equator (Qr Marc x Ekliptyka) bred by SK Michalow and owned by Ghazi Bin Bashir Al Otaibi - Al Mokhldiat Stud. Bronze medal winner the grey Wortex (Shanghai Ea x Mirwanah Kalliste) bred by Kalliste Arabians and owned by Jennifer D'Hombre - Kalliste Arabians. CONCLUSION: The 2020 PSAIAHF definitely lived up to the expectations and was truly beyond belief. We would like to congratulate and praise the Organization, Makshaff Services Ltd. led by Event manager Mr. Salah Al Ali (Saudi Arabia) and his assistant /operation manager Mr. Hakim Abdul Subhan (Saudi Arabia) who worked hard on this beautiful event. The Saudi TV made a live broadcast of the show, which was attention-grabbing right until the end of the Final Championship. Also this year the show could be seen live-stream thanks to the presence of Arabian Essence’s staff of professional; while journalists could do very good thanks to a fully operational modern media center. The Festival was a true gala for Arabian horse enthusiasts – an international event on a grand scale. So, heartfelt thank you to the participating breeders, the appointed judges, the handlers, the disciplinary commissioners, the ringmasters, the photographers along with the many Sponsors that actually supported this impressive show-machine.
