The Algawsit Endurance Cup 2022® will be held in Castellaneta Marina (TA), Apulia, from 15th-16th October. For it, an Organizing Committee composed of ADS Apulia Endurance Center and CT Arabians manages the technical and sporting aspects of the much anticipated international equestrian endurance event. The team has been working on the organization for a CEI1*100 km for quite a while now. Rides will be through some of the most beautiful scenery the world can offer, starting from Castellaneta Marina, riding through the scented pine forests around Stornara, along the Lato River, and the heavenly beaches of the Ionian coast. Riders will have two loops of extraordinary beauty to complete. Apulia has long been associated with horses. And as part of its commitment to becoming a world-class endurance destination, Castellaneta Marina will be happy to welcome all the riders who want to participate from all over the world. Participants in this competition will gather in such a magical and nuances-rich region of southern Italy. It strongly points to the development of our equestrian discipline, providing a 50.000,00 € prize money by a great sponsor, and due to the contributions from numerous organizations involved in the development and promotion of Italian Horse Breeding, such as MiPAAF (Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policy), ANICA (Italian Purebred Arabian Horses Association) and the backing of AIACE (Endurance Horse Breeders Italian Association). According to the prize money allocated, the international CEI1 *100 km winner will receive a prize of 10.000,00 €. A total of 35,000.00 € of the remaining prize money will get shared among the top ten classified riders in the CEI1 * 100 km class after the deduction of FEI rights. The new partnership between ADS Apulia Endurance Center and CT Arabians, including Francesco Colombo Race Track Director - President of ASD APULIA, Monica Mori, Event Director and Luigi Capogna, Event Administrative Manager - and owner of CT Arabians - are honoured to be able to contribute to the organization of such an exclusive competition shining with a rich prize pool. During our conversation, Event Director Monica Mori points out: "Our common dedication, hard work and sacrifices are a testament to our professionalism. And this endurance project is a fantastic opportunity for us to embrace. Then, with a package that offers everything on-site: the track, the stables, and an exceptional endurance tourist village to host the crews, putting together the Algawsit Endurance Cup 2022 is a challenge to accept with great enthusiasm...As part of the motivation, there is also the intention to attract foreign sports teams, particularly those from the Middle East. Monica reminds me that Algawsit Endurance Cup 2022® will take place just a week before the World Endurance Competition in Isola Della Scala, near Verona. The crews of Verona might think of a short holiday here, have fun at the event, and then leave again. Bari-Verona is a well-served flight route, and Bari Airport is not too far from Castellaneta Marina. The drive takes about an hour. Getting here should be no problem at all. Guests will find exceptional comfort at "I Turchesi Village Resort", a four-star touristic infrastructure.
