Dear Breeders and Lovers of the Arabian horse, what you hold in your hands is the 2020 Autumn edition of Arabian Horse Magazine. It comes out while we are still fighting amid the coronavirus pandemic, all of which means it truly reflects what’s going on in the breeding and show industry under the current circumstances of global health crisis. With so many imponderables at this stage, national and international organisations of the Arabian horse have decided to cancel or to postpone many important shows to later dates. It is a great pity, but the world has never seen anything of this magnitude and people’s as well as horses’ health is, and must be, the number one priority. Since there were no particular restrictions for travelling inside Europe, we managed to participate in: the 2020 Menton Mediterranean and Arab Countries Arabian Horse Championship on the French Riviera; the 2020 Arabian Horse Days in Ströhen, Germany; the 2020 International Arabian Horse Championship on the Costa Brava, Barcelona, Spain; and more recently, we were invited to take part in the 2020 Prague InterCup and the 2020 European Championship in the region of Prague, Czech Republic. In Italy, we took part in the 8th edition of |Purebred Arabian Horses in Bergamo. The coronavirus outbreak has disrupted the calendar for the 2020, but our community has been responding pretty well to the emergency, taking very seriously all precautionary and safety requirements. We on the AHM team are very grateful for the support we have received from all the organizers, the sponsors, the owners, breeders, judges and handlers who travelled from afar to participate in the main shows programme. The authorities from Italy and other European countries like France, Spain, Germany and |Czech Republic have been very helpful organizing, promoting and hosting our beautiful shows and we are looking forward to working with them again in 2021
