Dubai International Horse Fair
The Fair takes place in World Trade Center Dubai from 17 to 19th March 2022 as a major framework of the Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship, with the next edition scheduled for March 2023. DIHF has been the equestrian industry's pivotal gathering ground for decades, and the only and most established trade show in the region connecting a diverse array of equestrian suppliers with the region's avid enthusiasts, owners, breeders, stables and clubs.
The World Art Dubai
Together with the Fair, the World Art Dubai (WAD) exhibition attracts 300 artists representing diverse artistic mediums and styles. The artists exhibit more than 4,000 works of art from more than 50 countries. We have a wide range of artworks at the WAD with prices ranging from $100 upwards - there is something for everyone!
We enjoy speaking with and listening to many interesting artists about what drives and challenges them. Seeing and learning about so many talented artists during the championship is truly inspiring!
CONCLUSION
We will keep great memories of the 2022 Dubai International Championship (DIAHC) not only for the magnificent Arabian horses, but also for catching up with friends and making new acquaintances. It has been great to get a deeper sense of Dubai's culture and history (the Museum of the Future is incredible, as it is taken in the Expo). While the tributes at the Ukrainian Pavillion is really moving. We have also visited the cultural village at the DIAC, which showcases aspects of the Emirati heritage, such as pearl diving, food preparation, and pottery making. It has been a delight to spend time with friends and to try the delicious Middle Eastern food. It was a pleasure to eat fish at the Gala dinner prepared by local chefs at the restaurant and previously at the Souk Al Bahar restaurant, both of which overlook beautiful water.
We are beyond grateful to the High Organizing Committee composed of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, to DIAHC Board, in particular, General Manager Mr. Qusai Obaidalla and Mr. Adel Saeed Al Falasi. Thank you for inviting us at such wonderful equestrian event where the quality of the horses is always beyond any expectations.
Thanks to all the judges who have been able to attend the show. They had some very long days and then demanding finals, but they know they would all do it again.
Special thank you to the owners, trainers, and handlers who took the effort to present their horses to such a high level. To conclude, heartfelt thank you to the many sponsors, volunteers, ring stewards, and all the hard-working helpers and behind-the-scenes officials. We are all looking forward to the 2023 DIAHC edition!
